Midnight at Mill Lake

This picture was shot at midnight looking east towards the moon using a long exposure technique. I was told about this lake by a model I had shot with, and went out one night to capture it’s beauty in the light of the moon. The water was calm and glass like, giving a great reflection. The lily pads shone under the light of the moon above, giving a peaceful resonance to the frame.

Golden Tree for farmers

This image was taken at the International Friendship Garden behind Clearbrook Library. The Garden is one of my favourite places to relax and unwind, and I love the tree, created in memory of farm workers and all the essential work they do.

Centennial Trail Marker

The best way to explore Sumas Mt is to take the Centennial Trail. This trail was made to mark the 100th birthday of Canada in 1967, the year I was born. Maybe that is why this trail is so special to me.
